Description

I know, a bit of a bad title. I apologize for the long wait, but here is the Cursed Temple Spirit (Or Spirits for lack of a better word) Of Light, Hikari and Yami (No wise cracks about two certain anime characters, please). This particular character is based off of Twinmold from Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Hence the reason why it has two heads on both halves of its torso.

To those who are unfamiliar with the terms, Hikari means light and Yami means dark.

Names: Hikari and Yami (AKA Gilgas)
Age: Eternal
Gender: First part of its body is male and the second half of its body is female.
Species: Balance Spirit
Element they represent: Light
Family: Maeve (daughter)

Info: One of the Cursed Temple Spirits that serve Gwydion, Gilgas is two seperate entities that both work together using a balanced force of pain and pleasure with Hikari. The two halves also have two distinct personalities, while Hikari is a passionate, yet ruthless and powerful soul (the top half), Yami is a creature of pure anguish and torture. When Gwydion had accepted Lacrimazar Orodius's offer to join the cult leader's cause, Belphegor (the horsemen of famine) had began to work on creating a spirit of light with enough devastating power that would rival that of the Light sage, Maeve and he knew of just the two beings who would help to create Gilgas. Belphegor (with help from Stheno, who was betrayed by Vanth) used the hatred that Maeve's mother and father had for Vanth and Maeve's love for one another (before Lorraizar had taken complete control over Vanth). Belphegor had offered Hikari and Yami the power that they needed to slaughter Vanth.

However, with such power, came a price. Belphegor tricked the two of them into becoming servants of Gwydion and used a fusion ability he had learned, he fused together Hikari and Yami into a monster of absolute destruction known as Gilgas, the mindsets of both spirits being balanced, though their rage had overwhelmed the two of them, destroying whatever reason or good that may have been left in Hikari and Yami. Belphegor then used the fused together parody of Maeve's family and an army of ghosts who shared Lacrimazar's views and unleashed them onto various parts of the Ghost Zone, hunting down Vanth and Maeve. When they encountered Vanth (after he had destroyed the village of outcast vampires while he was under the influence of Lorraizar.), he fought against Gilgas, but the influences of Lorraizar interferred with his ability to defeat Gilgas and he was nearly killed by Gilgas. Maeve found Vanth, unaware that he was really the one who slaughtered the residents in the village of vampires. Maeve then took Vanth to the Great Spirit Titan Of Light, Zinthos in order to help and heal him. Zinthos sensed a dark and demonic prescence hidden within the half snake demon, half vampire and before he could do anything, Lorraizar had taken control and using Vanth, he hunted down Gilgas while Lacrimazar Orodius unleashed his armies onto the Ghost Zone and other dimensions, such as the human and demon worlds.

Maeve followed Vanth's demonic essence with Zintho's help and she watched in horror as Vanth summoned the demonic serpent known as Lorraizar onto Lacrimazar's armies, slaughtering them indiscriminately with little or no regret. When Vanth tracked down Belphegor and found the Horsemen Of Famine, who explained to him that Gilgas wasn't just another spirit created to be a puppet, it was actually created from Maeve's father, Hikari and her mother, Yami. Enraged by this fact, Vanth charged after Belphegor and Stheno, but they escaped and Vanth was left with no other option, but to fight Gilgas. Vanth fought well against the combined spirit of light, but as he was about to deliver the finishing blow, Maeve struck Vanth down and begged him not to kill them for she had heard Vanth and Belphegor's conversation and she was not about to lose her family. However, Gilgas's corrupted mindset (or mindsets) had gotten a hold of them and their fury had become more destructive, rendering Gilgas into a much more mindless beast than it was before and both Vanth and Maeve sealed away the demonic entity of light, trapping the entity in a statue within the temple of light as a memorial to the family that Maeve had lost due to the anger and intolerance her parents had shown toward Vanth Leviathan.

Powers and abilities:

Gilgas's two halves, Hikari and Yami, work as two seperate entities to eliminate any obstacles that stand in their ways. They can also extend to certain lengths and create blinding lights that could literally burn out one's eyes. Their power is equal to that of the light sage, Maeve, but pails in comparison to that of Zinthos, the titan of light.

Blinding Ouroburos: Circles around in an large circle, forming the infamous ouroburos and creating a blinding ray of light which weakens the strength of its enemies.

Accursed Halo: Creates a golden halo which wraps around Gilgas's enemies and imprisons them in a prison of light

The Golden Skull: Temporarily transforms into a golden skull and unleashes a powerful blast of light from its mouth.

XONGYWID: The perfect form of the Cursed Temple Spirits. In this form, they are much more powerful and even dangerous when combined with Gwydion.
