"Mr. Todd, you have to help me!"

"Out...."

"Mr. Todd..."

*angrily* "OUT!"

I finally got a copy of Tim Burton's adaption of the Sweeney Todd musical. I must say that it was a very entertaining musical. Although I think they overdid the bleeding part of when Sweeney/Benjamin's victims had their throats slit. Still, the songs were very memorable. The ending could have been extended a little longer so the audience could see what became of Johanna after the movie, but that's understandable seeing how the film is based on a musical of the same name.

That's all for now.

I thought they exaggerated with the blood a bit too. Maybe they were trying to emphasize? XD; Who knows? But I thought it was pretty good. :] I loved the songs.

I'm sure the blood part was mostly done for the horror value, seeing how Sweeney Todd is not exactly a musical for children to see.

I enjoyed the music too. I like the remixed version of "Johanna."
